Gil has 35+ years of experience in business and marketing. Early in his career, he owned and operated an advertising agency. Later, he created a highly successful publishing business serving the marketing and promotional needs of over 100 companies that provided direct mail and fulfillment services.
A highly skilled marketing strategist and proficient marketing writer, Gil has written hundreds of articles on direct marketing including the book Direct Mail Success (no longer in print).
Gil holds a bachelors degree from the University of Cincinnati, a masters from Michigan State University, and pursued post-graduate studies at Ohio State University.
Just for fun, he writes, produces, and directs Mystery Dinner Theatre productions with a business theme. Productions include Who Killed the Business? and Who Killed the Customers? A new production entitled Who Killed the Family Business? will debut at The Centre Club in Tampa in September 2017.
